Canada Caregiver Credit

A tax credit for people who support a spouse, partner, or family member with a physical or mental impairment. In 'helping someone' mode, this is a credit the helper can claim.

    Claim it on your tax return

    Claim the amount on lines 30425 or 30450 of your tax return. The CRA may ask for a signed statement from a medical practitioner.
